Ceramic Lighting Parts
Juheko's ceramic lighting and electrical accessories are designed and made in Estonia. The designs are inspired by porcelain items of the last century, but we have adapted the function and form to our time. The designs aim to be timeless, universal and usable with all kinds of luminaires. Our ceramic lighting components and electrical accessories offer a unique blend of functionality and aesthetics. Crafted with attention to detail, these products showcase the versatility of ceramics in the field of lighting components. The ceramic material not only ensures durability and heat resistance but also adds an element of refinement to the overall design. We are constantly working to maintain and improve the quality of our products. Our company's goal is to provide our customers with premium ceramic components, committed to quality craftsmanship and innovation. Some of these items have been copied by other companies... which we take as a compliment.
A UNIQUE DESIGN
All our designs are original and unique. Our designers and founders Regina Kuningas and Laszlo Zagyva have an academic background in design and art. With a deep interest in the history of design, we create products that are universal yet personal. We look for gaps in the lighting industry where these products can be useful and successful. In an era of fast- changing fashions, we seek a balance between the past and the future and strive to create sustainable products. Sustainability is not just a question of materials or manufacturing processes. Perhaps even more important is produc longevity. We strive to create products that are not only long-lasting in themselves, but can also lengthen the life of existing luminaires. Our greatest design inspiration is the classic light bulb itself, once an object of design obsolescence, but which has become a timeless design, a symbol of ideas and innovation.
Manufacturing Locally
For us, it is very important to manufacture our products locally. Contrary to what most companies do, we don't first look for ready made products, but we design and have them manufactured if possible. We prefer to pay for quality and uniqueness, not the price of products shipped from the other side of the globe.
In a small country like Estonia, supporting local craftsmen is also important. Many of our products are made to order, which means that our customers can get unique and personalized products even in smaller quantities. In a global market, if we were all looking for the same big manufacturing company, eventually everyone would be selling the same things. Local design and production creates diversity, sustainability and is ecologically positive, and plays an important role in preserving industrial heritage.
