Enamel lampshade, white, black rim. Coated with vitreous enamel.
The lampshade is designed and handmade in Estonia. Its simple shape was inspired by vintage lampshades of the early 20th century Europe. The lampshades are handmade in small numbers using the traditional metal spinning techinque. They are made of high-quality 1mm metal sheet, then enameled.
Enameling means fusing powdered glass to the metal surface on high temperature between 750°C and 850 °C. The glass powder melts, flows, and then hardens to a smooth, durable glass coating. This gives the surface the unique brilliant classic look.
